Website Old House Store - the builders merchant for traditional and ecological materials. We offer the highest quality building and decorating products, made using traditional techniques, many by hand in our own workshops. Our basic philosophy is based on the sympathetic and authentic conservation/ repair of old buildings, but the ecological basis of our products makes them equally suitable for new-build projects. Our materials have been used on numerous National Trust, English Heritage and Historic Royal Palaces buildings. We have one of the widest ranges of building limes available in the UK. Our own blacksmiths make our traditional ironmongery, as well as undertaking commissioned works. All of our materials can be delivered throughout the UK, and most can be delivered anywhere in the world. |
